Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Embla Sigyndottir the Second was named after one of the dragons who died permanently when Cireth failed to turn her into a zombie. She was not the only dragon with a failed zombie for a namesake and quickly teamed up with Orchal Tomasion the Second to promote "The Anti-Zombification but Pro Already Created Zombies League".

Embla can often be found running around the cave with a bag, containing a letter to Cireth on a very long piece of parchment, a paintbrush and a bottle of ink, cornering dragons. The letter begs Cireth not to make any more zombies at Halloween and Embla is determined to get every dragon in Cireth's pack to add their pawprint. As it stands so far she thinks she will need more parchment to fit everyone's pawprints in.
