Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, larger in males, aiding both in digging up food and protection when fighting for mates. Males are duller in color than females due to their habit of wandering from nest to nest and picking from less algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Fireless Star is an elegant male Flamingo wyvern. His favourite pastime is dancing, and he earns a living by performing his dances for others. Star's displays are complex and beautiful, ever-changing as he improves and adapts them. Though he prefers to dance with music, Star does not mind dancing without it.

Fireless Star's home is a leafy ring of vegetation in "The Fall-Leaf Forest". He doesn't place very much emphasis on material wealth, and prefers to experience the joy of dancing and the wonders of nature rather than hoard shiny trinkets. Star spends a lot of time with his best friends Crimson Fella, Unsafe Planet and Terrorcliff. He's quite polite and reserved, but tends to be more relaxed among his friends.

  Fireless Star has no mate, but that doesn't bother him in the slightest. He's happy just dancing, enjoying nature and hanging out with his friends.
