Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tor is a strange dragon.

He lives with the Nebbia off of the cliff walls in an area set aside for him and him alone. Not liking the sun one bit, he cowers in the cave he picked out during the day, never venturing out till night hits.

In the blackness of night is when Tor takes on some of his strangest behavior. For although he lives with the rebel band of dragons, he does not even realize he is one of them. When he was younger, Tor got a lot of strange vibes from the other dragons of Mexas. The Elders, the Nebbia, and the Ferox all showed him disfavor. Tor quickly learned it was best to be alone; for he had been one of Skyler's prime targets for pranks.

He became a deft hunter quickly, but still felt extraordinarily alone. That was when he found them. Bats. He quickly learned how to communicate with them and they seem to accept him as a massive deformed bat now. He defends the cave they live in in exchange for companions and finally feeling like he belongs.
