Originating from a single species that thrived in ancient times, Xenowyrms have become an incredibly diverse breed whose appearances vary depending on their habitats. Each Xenowyrm subspecies is heavily reliant on the power of different types of mana, making them powerful magic users. Gaia, despite their large size, are the lightest of all Xenowyrm subspecies. They possess the ability to use incredibly powerful life magic, though most of their efforts are concentrated; to them, nothing is more important than letting plant life thrive. Adult Gaia will use their magic to grow vegetation around themselves so they can spread it wherever they travel.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

One summer's day, a young woman (who was also a dragon raiser) had ventured far from her home for the purpose of exploring beyond the borders of the land she calls home. Suddenly, the blue of the summer sky was blotted out by the clouds of an approaching storm, and the girl started to head for home as quick as she could. The trees in the distance hadn't been a mirage, and she stepped into a lush jungle. In one small patch of sunlight, resting upon a bed of moss, was another glassy egg. The girl picked it up and put it with the others, then climbed a sturdy tree to have a look around. She spotted a snowy peak in the distance and climbed down from her leafy perch.

Emeraldwyrm is your typical Gaia Xenowyrm, he loves to spread all kinds of plants around his owner's lands, even if the other dragons don't appreciate it. But it's not really entirely his fault that some poison ivy just happened to sprout and spread like wildfire right next to the White dragons' cave set aside for healing.
