Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Silver dragons are well sought for their beautiful metallic hides, and rarity. Because of his rarity, Hawktalon's other dragons held Sheg with the same air of mystery and respect as if he were royalty. The young Silver didn't understand the reason for this constant wave of attention; he only knew that he was loved. He basked in their praise and admiration--- the closest thing he had ever felt to a mother's gentle adoration--- feeling as if he finally had a home.

Until one night Hawktalon came to him, explaining that a Magi would teleport him to a new home where he would be loved even more. But her cave had become Sheg's only home. He took to the shadows, evading the Magis' spells until he had grown too large for it to take effect. While he finally has a home, he will never forget that night and the Magis that tried to take him away and has now become terrified that they will teleport him to some strange place with no way of returning.
