Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Keiba's name means "Racing Horse" in Japanese. She is a daughter of Masayuki and Mitsuko, and is her parents' feisty little daughter. She was raised alongside her best friend Aiba, even though the two are complete opposites. Aiba is very calm and relaxed, while Keiba is a spitfire. She loves racing and wrestling, and anything really that has to do with moving and competition. This is also in complete contrast to her mate, Fujiiro, who is very calm and relaxed. However, opposites attract, and sometimes it leads to soul mates being found, and hearts entwined for all eternity. They became mates in a double ceremony along with Aiba and Zen. They are so in love, and always will be. They truly are soul mates.
