Hellfire Wyverns are so named for their foul tempers and fiery visages. Their social structure places all females above all males, due to superior physical characteristics and violent dispositions. Forced subservience of the males causes them to become vicious, petty, antisocial, and passive-aggressive compared to the aggressive and social females. However, orphaned hatchlings raised by foster parents of another species can develop surprisingly even tempers and mellow dispositions, proving that their defining unpleasant nature is, in fact, a learned behavior.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
'Lei Umine' literally means 'Last Glitter'. This name is given because of this dragon's sad past.
Despite coming from a long lineage of Nobleman cross-breed dragon, her egg was abandoned simply because it was afflicted with softshell disease, making it unsuitable for further rearing; thus, the egg was abandoned at local dragoncave, simply waiting for death...until a wandering Dragonsage came and picked it up. Even after successfully hatched, the hatchling was still prone to contacting disease, as such even senior Dragonsages gave up hope for that hatchling to became an adult...or even lived to see tomorrow's dawn; thus, the name 'Lei Soeir' was given, meaning 'the last glitter you will see'.
But as present, that sickly hatchling has matured into a beautiful dragon. Minus the usual demeanor of Hellfires, Soeir is tame, even sweet. Probably because she remembered the tender care of the Dragonsage who raised her. Or just because she had never contacted another of her kind.
