Canopy Dragons love to soar above the tropical jungles and other densely forested areas. Their billowing, layered wings create generous lift that allows them to ascend effortlessly over the warm jungle. While their unique wings do not make them the fastest flyers, they are champion gliders. To further this end, dexterity, maneuverability, and grace are all judged by the females when selecting their mates from the males that can accurately complete the exhausting and elaborate courtship dance between the close growing branches of the upper canopy.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Dawn Zane Snap is a dragon born in the Snap lineage of both Caveborn parents. This canopy egg took more longer to hatch and mature than the others. She had hatched prematurely due to an accidental Earthquake of a Pebble's doing. Luckily, Dawn Zane made it out alive but was still premature- too early for her to hatch. Dawn Zane had been under the protection of her mother when she was a hatchling. Dawn couldn't see and hear, she couldn't gain them normally like the others because she was still growing. Eventually, she finally got her sight and hearing but not very good as her siblings' were. Dawn Zane was able to hunt for food, swim, climb trees on her own- any usual things that almost any dragon can do. But there was one weakness, she could not see in the dark. Because of that, Zane had traveled to many places and deciding which place is the best for her to stay and able to survive. She have become mates with Dusk Zetsu Snap during in her travels. They had finally found a new home.
