Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Vylea is often seen as the "Cavemother". She rather likes to stay in or near the cave and lets the others hunt for her. In reward she takes care of all the eggs and hatchlings in Mow's cave. She is very affectionate and watches the younglings thoughtfully playing and growing. She has a settled character and other dragons consult her if they have problems within the cave.
