Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Originating from a single species that thrived in ancient times, Xenowyrms have become an incredibly diverse breed whose appearances vary depending on their habitats. Each Xenowyrm subspecies is heavily reliant on the power of different types of mana, making them powerful magic users. Gaia, despite their large size, are the lightest of all Xenowyrm subspecies. They possess the ability to use incredibly powerful life magic, though most of their efforts are concentrated; to them, nothing is more important than letting plant life thrive. Adult Gaia will use their magic to grow vegetation around themselves so they can spread it wherever they travel.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Despite being the youngest of the six Xenowyrms under Damian's care, Maisha is by far the wisest. She prides herself on knowing the best course of action in any situation and consistently making the "correct" decision when in trouble. As a result, her ego has grown considerably large, and she finds it difficult to interact with virtually any other dragon she meets, whom she considers inferior. She retreated to the undersea Mana Cave long before the conflict between the Crater and Island clans arose, and it is suspected that her presence there is what caused the creation of the densely-forested island nearby. The Mana Cave is large enough for her to conceal her presence for the moment, but time will tell whether she will grow tired enough of the conflict to intervene in some way.
