Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

When thumping can be felt through the floors and yowling and screeching can be heard all the way down into the lower levels of the cave, most dragons ignore it. Usually it means that Rurne has riled up someone and has started a skirmish. Even as a hatchling, Rurne acted surly and started fights just to keep herself entertained. She is a sarcastic and snappish dragon though none can ever figure out why. She had a wonderful childhood and is extremely confident in herself, almost to the point of audacity. But on every third Tuesday of every month, Rurne drops the tough girl act and quietly slinks off into the night. She goes to the small system of caves by the lakeside and hides herself deep inside and waits. Soon the sound of the village's orchestra can be heard echoing off the watery walls, performing for a small crowd of humans. Music soothes the savage beast, even the violent Rurne.
