Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Copper Thuwed is very proud of his family, as anyone who's been in his company for more than five minutes could easily verify.  He brags about all of them, young and old, regardless of magnitude of accomplishment or even of breed.  Copper Thuwed is endearing in small doses, as he takes genuine joy in even the smallest accomplishments of his kinfolk, but only diehard historians can stand him for long periods of time.
