Rosebud Dragons are a fun and social breed found most often in the spring. The petal-like feathers that grow on their sides spread their sweet and floral scent. Although they have poor eyesight, they have ribbon-like extensions that extend their olfactory abilities to help create a map of the area around them. When flying, Rosebud dragons tend to hover, using their wings to fan their scent throughout the air. A widespread breed, they go to great effort to visit as many flowery fields as possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Outwardly, this dragon seems more of a thorn than a rose, fond only of the blooms with such acidic pollen that those who dare sniff them break out in hives.  She wears one on her shoulder, in fact, just to upset people.  Inwardly, though, Rosefever is just as much of a romantic as her sister Rosengel, and her love is just as hopeless; though she sighs over Rudolph day in and day out, dreaming of what it would be like to be with him, she has noticed the longing looks HE gives to Prancer.  Though everyone in Lorraine's caves knows Prancer is too melancholy to seek a mate, Rose knows that Rudolph has eyes for no other, whether he admits it to himself or not.  Whether this delicate love triangle is ever resolved remains to be seen.
