Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Diamla Mystal PeaceBell (Clan Mystal) was born into the clan as member number 3,882. She is the proud and beloved daughter of Diamlya and Labrozor, endowed with her father's elegant glow and her mother's unyielding cheer and joy. She remains hidden throughout much of the year, spending most of her time preparing for her annual choir of songs and bells that have become a time honored tradition within the clan. Diamla emerges each year during the long winter, spreading peace and comfort as she gracefully dances and performs before the ever growing crowds that come to see her.

It is said throughout the land that Diamla refuses to select a mate, believing that to do so would diminish her abilities to compel joy and peace onto others. Although the Clan Mother attempts to dissuade her, as of yet, she has not relented. Perhaps for this reason, each year the number of potential suitors positioning for her favor grows, and simply serves to further her resolve.
