Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Lying lazily under the shade of an old oak, Flik yawns to himself. Named The Terrible because of his aversion to others, Flik likes his own company the best.

He was a young girl's pet when he was a hatchling, and the two of them were never seen apart. His keeper was glad that the lonely dragon could bring joy to the lonely girl. But when he matured into a fine, strong green dragon, his girl friend spurned him, and asked for another cute hatching. Upon seeing how she tossed him aside, Flik lashed out, smashing the girl's home and nearly killing her family. Her parents demand his keeper to kill him, but Flik vanished into the back-woods. No-one comes near him now. He likes it that way.
