Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

On full moon nights, humans say, there is a ghost flying across the skies. This ghost, they say, must be the soul of a dead dragon from that terrible cave close to the sea. Nova Dracona, the dragon in question, finds these stories quite amusing. She is in fact just a normal albino dragon that prefers the night to the day due to her sensitive skin. To keep the rumours alive, however, she goes out of her way to fly over the human villages when the moon is full.

Nova Dracona gets along fine with the other nocturnal dragons at the cave, those who are awake during the day she doesn't know much about. Her only friend from the daylight dragons is Novo Draco, her on- and off-boyfriend. They lead a very open relationship, which results in children from different mates. Up to now, this wasn't a cause for jealousy for either.
