Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Blue Seastorm is the very roots of her pack, the Storm Pack. She urged Purple Skystorm to start the pack almost the day they grew up. And so the pack grew and developed, but most of the pair's children left the pack, uninterested in social life. She is very energetic and loves to coast along the shallows in her lake that she lives by, but climbs out of the water to sleep and breed. Her ridgewing mate is the leader of the Storm Pack, and is, as Blue says, " The most colorful dragon she's ever met."
