Thunder Dragons are the masters of electricity. Their wings gather energy as they soar through the clouds, and when they clap their wings together they can create devastating arcs of lightning. They can stay airborne nearly indefinitely, landing only to sleep and breed; they catch their prey from the air and take moisture from the clouds. A thunder dragon’s roar is considered to be an omen of misfortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Though most legendary dragons are feared and respected, Tornares is more commonly titled as "Best to be forgotten". Tornares was a noble and kind Thunder Dragon. He would be the savior and guardian of those in need. Just as fast as he reached the peak of his glory, it fell, and so did he. One day, he spotted a Bleeding Moon Dragon lying down wounded. He flew in, quickly realizing that the cut was deep. He searched for useful herbs that would clean and heal the wound. Behind him, the dragon rose and swiped its tail across the side of his face, cutting his eye. As he struggled to move, he wrote an instruction, if he were to survive. "TRUST NO ONE". The toxin didn't kill him, he healed in a few days, but it was too late. It had done its damage, and changed him forever. He awoke remembering only the attack and his name. As he touched the cut on his face, he noticed his message. There, he swore his revenge, regardless of the chaos and destruction it may cause.
