Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As a dragon who spends a lot of time in the open seas, Kanshaku has developed quite the affinity for ocean currents. He can spend hours at a time learning the movements of the currents in a certain area, and has memorized the patterns near his home so he can always figure out the most efficient way to travel anywhere nearby. While his siblings do appreciate his encyclopedic knowledge, some of them find that he acts irritatingly smug whenever he can accurately predict seasonal deviations in current flow.
