Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Master of Mages, simply referred as Mage by his clanmates, is a powerful Magi dragon that utilizes all non-healing magics and has a powerful ancient magic book in his possession. His rise in power was started by proving his ability as a field commander, eventually climbing to the third-highest position in the clan, only below his human master and Phantom. Despite this, he's actually in command of the entire cave due to the human master usually being absent, and the fact that Phantom retired from active duty after becoming his lifetime mate. Although he highly values the cave's survival and expansion, his top priority is Phantom's happiness, and has a bad habit of getting emotional when Phantom's safety is threatened.
