Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, larger in males, aiding both in digging up food and protection when fighting for mates. Males are duller in color than females due to their habit of wandering from nest to nest and picking from less algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pinky quite enjoys warm-hearted females. Unfortunately, this is quite literal, as he likes the physical hearts to be warm. Whenever he takes a trip out from his cave, he watches for female dragons. If one just so happens to glance at him the wrong way, Pinky begins making his plans to visit the poor girl that night. Many murders throughout the cave have been the fault of this Flamingo dragon, and he has a scary method of going about it, too. He uses his sharp horns and crest to cut into their chest. Once he's weakened the area, he will burn into the spot with his flaming breath for as long as he can, taking as few breaks as possible and not stopping until his victim's heart has melted away. Unlike other murderers, Pinky actually gives off the terrifying, evil aura that wards away most dragons, hatchlings and adults. He is also, unfortunately, in charge of raising any Flamingo hatchlings within his owner's cave, as he is currently the only Flamingo dragon present.
