White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

IceFire is the healer and co-leader of her clan. Her wisdom, patience and compassion are all valued by her clanmates, though her peace-loving nature occasionally brings her into conflict her more violent companions. More scholarly than most of her kind, IceFire is something of a recluse, spending most of her time in her private den and only conversing with Tornag and her personal guard, He'Ron, with any great frequency. When she does speak, however, the entire clan listens. She is especially admired by Ice River and Remina, two young females who seem to view her with the draconic equivalent of hero-worship.
