Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ziron flew around, sprinkling a bit of tinsel here and there on the giant tree. It was Christmas and his job was doing the tinsel. All the dragons of his cave had set up a huge Christmas Tree in the great cave that was a little over 100 feet tall. They were decorating it with ornaments, garlands, and tinsel. Ziron, being a Christmas Magi, couldn't help himself and put a small spell on the tree so that it would live eternally and make anyone near happy. In loud singsong voice, Ziron said,"Merry Christmas! Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays!" and flew in circles around the tree, raining some sparkle onto it as he went.
