Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Morgandie Mystal CottonBud (Clan Mystal) was the 150th carrot to join the clan cave, born third generation, pure Mystal Clan blood. She is a jittery carrot, who seems easily frightened, especially by things that go bump in the night. Although her lineage is full of pinkish love and flowery presence, she spends much of her time apart from her clan mates, choosing instead to isolate herself from the uncertainties of the world around her. None are quite certain the cause of her nervousness, for none know of any happenstance that would account for such fears. The Clan Mother discovered, quite by accident, that although timid, she has a talent and gift for the magical transformation and manipulation of the fluffy down that collects near Axinthia. After the revelation, she began to break free from some of the ties that seemed to bind, and has since found a comfortable, albeit distant, place for herself within the clan cave. It is a budding talent, and time will tell where it will lead.
