Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Part of the team of Sylvain clan dragons that combats groups of predators, Yoton specializes in fire magic. Having spent much of her time training in the volcano biomes, she is able to conjure flames that can melt stone or earth into lava; however, after each time she uses her magic, she needs to keep her claws in water for a few hours so the residual magic does not damage them. Her role in combat is to help split up large groups of predators, and keep the injured away from the fighting. One of the few female members of the team, she feels satisfied with her abilities and doesn't think much on her history as an abandoned egg. She often encourages and reassures fellow female teammate Hyoton, whom she looks up to but also thinks is too serious.
