Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Dread Lady seems to be a cultured and genteel dragon, an impression so reinforced by her erudite speech and lofty mannerisms that it stands even in the face of her glowing red eyes and hyperextended fangs. She enjoys debating ethics in all applications; her reasoned arguments and her supply of verified facts never imply that she agrees with her 'father's' desire to gain an army of vampire followers.

In her own mind Dread Lady is a villainess of the highest order, and a true wolf in sheep's clothing. Behind her mild manners she holds those dragons swayed by her seeming reason and courtesy in utter contempt.

In the darkest recess of the clan caves and the furthest reaches of their hunting territory Dread Lady exults in slowly tormenting her prey before leaving it an empty husk. She also rejoices in biting the few eggs she finds in such places, but the blame for such things, if they are discovered, is laid at other vampires' doors.
