Originating from a single species that thrived in ancient times, Xenowyrms have become an incredibly diverse breed whose appearances vary depending on their habitats. Each Xenowyrm subspecies is heavily reliant on the power of different types of mana, making them powerful magic users. Astrapi are easily the most temperamental of all Xenowyrm subspecies. Their unpredictable behavior—coupled with their masterful control of lightning magic—has the potential for devastating results. Most of their time is spent airborne, flying through the skies or circling mountainsides for prey.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Skimpmer, an Astrapi Xenowyrm, is partially disabled in flight. Instead, he moves like an actual worm, digging through the ground. His magic is too weak to carry him in the air.

Skimpmer is unusually long for a Xenowyrm and his tunnels look outrageous. Other underground creatures live in his strange tunnels and holes, and have a symbiotic relationship with him, he will dig tunnels in exchange for protection, as he is unable to fight for himself. His holes are great for plants to grow in, helping maintain forests was purely by accident. He will not dig through roots.

In exchange for his tunnels, nature has provided him divine protection.

This strange dragon is oblivious to his deeds, only focused on eating dirt most of the time. But refuses to hurt any living being, excluding other dragons, which he will lash and flail about to get rid of.

Even powerful dragons will be warded off by nature's divine protection.
