White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Shiro's primary healing talents lie in the healing of the mind and soul. She can identify what might be physically happening inside a dragon's mind that is causing erratic behavior, and she specializes in the more delicate science of healing broken relationship and acting as a mediator between warring factions. She has taught her beloved life-mate, Absynthe Futterwacken, a few of her spells, though he is more skilled in the art of defensive force.
