Water Walkers are small dragons that are frequently found around bogs and ponds. While they are flightless, they retain the flight sacs and hollow bones of their airborne cousins. These traits, coupled with their extraordinarily long, webbed toes, allow them to stand on top of calm waters, using their small sails to propel them wherever they please. They spend the majority of their lives on the water, retreating to the tops of lily pads when the waters become too rough to float atop.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Lillypad is sometimes quite shy around the other males, but comes into his own when given the chance. An expert at using his wings as sails, he literally dances over the surface in breathtaking displays. When females arrive at the cave, he plans to use this to attract them.

Starbit found the muddy egg floating in a small tank in a village store. The villager said it had been floating on the pond when he had been fishing. Purchasing the egg, she took it back to the cave and found the hatchling was still alive, so incubated it in a puddle of warm water. While not the most handsome nor amazing specimen of the cave, it wouldn't feel right without Lillypad. He comforts the young dragons who live in and on the water, like Deep Seas, Waters, Water Horses and fellow Water Walkers.

Named for his amazing dancing, Starbit is keen to find him a mate.
