Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very curious and fond of sweets.

And look! It has grown feathers! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Alikgoh is Avea's "Sugar Baby", and one of her favorites. He can often be seen clinging to his dragonmaster's arm or neck, begging for sweets. Alikgoh is very affectionate and protective of Avea, hissing softly when anyone comes near; although he is so small and his hiss is so soft, that it doesn't really scare anyone, just comes off as cute. Like most sweetlings, Alikgoh ADORES honey and candies, and he will do almost anything for a sweet treat.
