It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Airetier, with her blue eyes and yellow hair, seems elegant when she is asleep. However, like her human who named the "pet" after one of her own names, she is not known very well for being elegant between those that know her. She sleeps during the day to keep the male dragons away, but when the human shakes her awake to tell her that the sun has set, she flies away with the girl on her back to wherever she wants to travel. Although she is frail due to her habits of sleeping during the day, she is a silver-tongued dragon, and is known to cast spells, thus preventing the approach of anything she considers a threat. Unlike her other female nest-mates, she does not care for socialising very much, and tends to scare even her friends when she is not in a mood for talking.
