Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Daar Di Wer Anon Zaneunisal decided from a very young age that pink was really no color for boys. He was always teased about his pale pink hue, especially by older red dragons and the younger hatchlings. Finally, Daar Di Wer Anon Zaneunisal decided he didn't want to be pink anymore, so he stole a bottle of black ink. He used leaves to cover himself in the ink, then went flying to make the ink dry faster. That was the least of his problems. When he returned home, all covered in messy half-dried black ink and bugs he had run into on his flight, he was teased even more-once the other hatchlings figured out who was behind the mess. Daar Di Wer Anon Zaneunisal ran away in tears, vowing never to return home, until a mysterious encounter in the forests changed his mind. He eventually came back, and soon after fell in love with a young dragon who would someday become his mate.
