Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

OMG Bob has been a surprise from the very first. He was the first lineaged dragon to be brought to the caves, though certainly not the last. He grew up quickly, a smiling and happy hatchling, doted on by the adults. He was always a little strange though. Bob, it was later found out, is gay and very comfortable with being so. Despite that, he still tries to please the Winged Wolf by attempting to breed more of his lineage for her. He hates every moment of it but can't help continuing to try not to disappoint her. Though those found for him are of rare beauty and impeccable lineages, he cannot reconcile himself to being anything but homosexual. He has yet to find another male that feels the same in the caves and merely does his best to not make any of them feel uncomfortable about his differing sexuality.
