Imperial Fleshcrownes are an active and playful breed. They are equally good at flying and climbing and while they are not good swimmers, they love to take an occasional dip. Fleshcrownes live in large social groups called “communities.” Adult Fleshcrownes share the responsibility of looking after the young, who are very playful and active. Even after maturing, they retain their curious and mischievous natures, often getting into trouble. The fleshy crowns on their head can be raised at will, and are usually erect when happy, excited, or scared. Fleshcrownes—being a very peaceful breed—are more prone to flight than fight. If threatened, they can raise their crowns while hissing in an attempt to scare off predators.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A very kind, gentle Freshcrowne, Crayola tends to stay quiet around other dragons. She isn't exactly shy, she has been seen socializing with others and associating herself with large groups. But, within those groups, she is not the talker. Crayola is very specifically a listener. She has an incredible memory and retains all information presented to or in front of her. She can actually be a bit of an eavesdropper, leading some more secretive dragons to be wary of her. In such cases, Crayola always manages to get whatever information she wants to know. She thrives on curiosity and hearing others' secrets. If anyone wants to know anything about anyone else, they go to Crayola for answers. It's a shame then that her own past is so mysterious. Anytime someone, even her own mate, Sunlight, asks, she always gives a different answer. Details, names, places, they all change on every attempt, and she definitely isn't just forgetting. Perhaps it is something the world may never truly know.
