As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.
Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.
User Description
As a Night Glory Drake, she has received the name "Nisha", which means "night" in Sanskrit, and the Japanese epithet "Ryuuyosei", which English translation is "Dragon Night Star".
She is shy and reserved like Night Glories are supposed to be. Afraid to be rejected or driven away, she avoids contact with humans or other dragons. She believes that it is better to remain lonely than to experience betrayal or disappointment. The only friends she has are the bats, who accompany her during the nights.
