Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Brionngloid's days of happy daydreams are over. Autumn was always a happy time with Brionngloid and the other Daydreams relaxing in the last warm rays of sunshine, local farmers celebrating the end of harvest time and their fully stocked barns. The sudden change came when when Brionngloid found his lifelong friend Brionglaid lying on the rocky ground, void eyes gazing meaningless into space, a deep sword wound in his chest. His attempts to revive his friend were futile, the body merely disintegrated. Soon he found another Daydream had fallen victim to the same murderer but an even worse fate than Brionglaid: Marbh had become a cursed Zombie, not dead, not alive till the end of time.

Now Brionngloid's daydreams are interrupted with flashes of memories from that horrid 31st of October.
