Aww... It’s a cute baby drake. Its dark colors resemble the night.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young drakes are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own.

Grija Obsedanta, or Nightmare in Zurenie's native tongue is Rozpravka's counterpart. His egg was laid and hatched long after Rozpravka's, however. Despite the true age difference Grija came to admire the day glory and demanded that when he came to the same age that he be frozen as well. The white dragon hatchling that had saved Rospravka's life refused to freeze him as Grija didn't seem to understand the consequences. So instead Grija turned to a frozen Dorsal dragon hatchling. The hatchling, Yami happily obliged and doomed Grija to an ageless life.
