Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Onyxria NightSilver (after the gemstone: Onyx) was adopted into the clan cave as the 138th dragon, her egg a special donation from a secretive, untold benefactor. While she retains some of the classic traits of her dark species, there exists around her a silvery glow as if transferred to her through her father's steel radiance. She has an uncanny ability to modify the intensity of this aura, lessening it when needing to blend into the night and allowing it full glory if the situation demands such a demonstration. On more than one occasion, her special talents have scared off the unwary, minimizing unwanted confrontations and reducing the overall threat to the clan cave and all its members. She is rather aloof, preferring the comfort and serenity of the night and spending much of her waking hours gliding effortlessly among the stars and clouds, shimmering in waves of silvery radiance from one peak to the next. It is said that her silvery glow has been mistaken for the very moon itself.
