It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Laid-back and carefree, Gamzee is the best at taking it easy. He does go out hunting, but he is not terribly skilled at it. He does get enough to sustain himself, though. He tends to nibble on certain hallucinogenic plants that put him into something of a daze, but thankfully they aren't strong enough to cause real harm to him. His tamer has been trying to discourage him from eating these plants, though. Gamzee is friendly to every single dragon in the cave as well as his tamer, making him very likable to both friends and strangers. The only thing is, he doesn't seem to realize when other dragons hate his guts. He tends to have something of a foul mouth, but his use of coarse language is not out of anger or rebelliousness; it's just the way he is.
