Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Secretaria has a fierce rivalry going with another Horse dragon named Shaam. Whenever they meet they always race each other; trying to beat their rival over the distances they set (without flying of course). Usually some of the other Horse dragons will join in with the race to see if they can beat these two. Secretaria has a habit of breaking at the very back of the pack before making huge last to first moves, steaming away from Shaam. But one time Secretaria and Shaam ran away from the pack at the very start. Shaam ultimately tired and finished last, but Secretaria went on to win by about 240 metres, a massive margin. Secretaria is very intelligent, always watching the birds fly over head unlike her brethren, or running and flying just for the fun of it.
