Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Onyxium SilentStill (after the gemstone: Onyx) joined the clan cave as its 227th member, and like others of her kind, she is very talented in the arts of magic and spell craft. Her greatest gift however, seems to be her stealth; a silent stillness which enables her to surprise both her prey and potential enemies. With little effort, she combines her magical abilities in perfect harmony with her physical strength and prowess, gliding atop the air currents to create a sort of unseen and unheard song of grace and beauty. While she exceeds at such displays, they do not seem to bring her joy or satisfaction. She would prefer to spend her time in the company of others, peacefully wasting away the hours in quiet tranquility, yet rarely does she indulge in such frivolity. Her natural instincts and abilities, as well as her deep devotion to her clan mates, leaves her little room to participate in such amusements, and she instead submits to her instincts and slips silently into the darkness.
