Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Primavernai takes her species quite seriously. As a spring dragon, she lives true to an unwritten set of rules she had dreamed up as a hatchling. She lives only in places where spring currently reigns. Primavernai even named herself after spring- 'primavera' means 'spring' in Spanish, and since Primavernai thought that was a bit too masculine for her tastes, she just switched it around to her liking.

Primavernai's Code, or the list of rules she follows, can be shortened down and roughly translated into this: "Be spring, feel spring, make spring. Be the crisp, stinging wind that numbs but refreshes. Be the life-giving rains that the earth and all its creatures have waited for. Be the warm sun shining down and be the new buds on the trees. Be the season of discovery and motivation. Live in the spirit of spring, be the spirit of spring. To these rules hold true, and many good things will come to you."
