Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It occasionally shoots small puffs of smoke from its nose, like it’s trying to breathe fire.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Fired up Frozen, or Foffy, had plans to grow up. However, one day as she was playing with Dreaming of Morinzaro, her best friend, tragedy struck. Dreaming of Mornizaro was happily showing his friend some spells he had learned, including one that was supposed to help Foffy grow up faster. Unfortunately he misspoke, and his dear friend has been stuck this way ever since. In time, Foffy came to accept her body, even coming to enjoy her frozen form. She said "It allows me insight into what others are feeling. Others are much more open when they think you hardly understand." She and Dreaming of Morinzaro have remained close friends, despite the incident.
