Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Hexcaster is a bulky and handsome dragon from EG's Cave who grew up raised by Magi dragons. In his younger days, he was haunted during his slumbers by the beautiful apparition of a dragon female with whom he fell deeply in love. However, he believed this elegant female to only be a dream for many years and fell into deep depressions.

One day, he decided to stay awake and prove to himself that this other dragon was simply a recurring nightmare, only to tackle her proving that she was actually a tangible reality. He learned that this dragon, Angel from my Nightmare, was in love with him also, and the two have been inseparable mates ever since with several children.
