Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rius is an intellectual dragon, spending most of his time inside the vast castle, staying in the company of books more than his own kind. It is because of this many come to him when they have questions; whether they be simple ones or complicated and deep ones, he hasn't been unable to answer one yet. However, in his spare time, he enjoys keeping record of all the lineages of the non-purebred dragons in the castle, tracing their lineages to as far as he can. The Castle Master's strict choosing of which dragons (mostly cave born) live inside the castle has made it hard to those who were bred by humans, and so his book has continued to remain very empty except for a few short family trees.
