Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is so full of energy that you have a hard time keeping up with it.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Frozen in Motion planned to follow in his mother's footsteps and train for the Dragolympics alongside her. However, he suffered a ghastly accident while hurdling, and rather than have him try to carry on and possibly damage himself still further, his mother reluctantly arranged for him to be frozen as a hatchling, to give him the chance to heal. He has never forgiven her, and they no longer speak to one another.

He is still determined to further his athletic career, and is working on establishing a Frozalympics for others like him. So far not a single frozen in the cave has shown the slightest interest, so he sulks. For some reason, sulking makes the blue streaks on his back stand out, which annoys him, as he never liked them; he thinks they are girly and he'd like to have them tattooed out.
