Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s chubby and pink with a faint rose-like smell.

And look! It has grown wings and the flower is blooming! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Ptero-Rosa Synstylus was playing in the forest one day, when she came upon Ptero-Lea, a Magi dragon and the leader of Pteprocks' Clan. Lea was practicing magic, unaware of Rosa's presence. Rosa, thinking that Lea was playing a game, ran out to play, and was accidentally hit by a spell that granted her permanent youth. Rosa is now taken care of by Lea, with the help of Rosa's older sister, Ptero-Nylund. Rosa is a kind, polite little hatchling. She is obedient and dislikes wrongdoing. In her spare time, she enjoys practicing her flight skills and playing with other hatchlings. She is always sad to see her playmates grow up and move on while she remains young.
