Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It enjoys swimming in a nearby pond.

And look! Its fins and tail have gotten bigger, and you’ve moved it to a larger body of water to swim in. It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This little guy's name comes from the Polish word for "puddle". He's a very curious little Hatchling, and he loves science. He's always conducting experiments, such as feeding the fish in his pond different things and seeing which ones get the biggest. He wants to know how everything works and why works the way it does. He's constantly asking questions and reading whatever texts he can find. More than anything else, he secretly wants a pair of glasses-- not because he can't see, but because he sees some of the Humans wearing them and thinks they would make him look smart!
