Blusang Lindwyrms are quite different from most dragons in that they lack hind legs. In this regard, they resemble snakes, and this is evident in their movement; these lindwyrms slither along the ground, using their forelegs to lift them over rougher terrain. Blusangs are a coastal breed, preferring to live along rocky beaches and in seaside caves rather than sandy locations. They are omnivores who graze on seaweed from time to time, although their primary form of sustenance is fish.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Opal, while still a member of Lightning's clan, does not live anywhere near the clan's main territory. Instead, her home is located on the rockier part of the coast, in a cave just off what counts as a beach there. When she isn't busy entertaining the human children that come to play in the sea, Opal likes to sunbathe, fish, and preen her scales, not always in that order.
Every six months, the clan's human caretaker, Josephine, takes whatever dragon will allow her to ride them and visits the homes of the dragons who do not live in the main cave with their fellow clan members. On her most recent visit, Josie discovered that Opal and her mate, a nebula dragon named Cosmo, had bred to produce their first egg. It went missing a few days later, much to the horror of its parents. However, Opal still holds on to the hope that her child is alive and well, waiting for her to find them.
