Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Blunas are known among local sailors as a "boatdragon". According to local superstition, crew members and passengers of vessels that were lost at sea with all hands will transform into these highly social, sea-faring sailing dragons.

Shenkuu Sails is particularly well known for her love of the food that the sailors make, and she will occasionally assist pearl divers in exchange for a very large quantity of extra-spicy stir fry with seafood.
